Plexus Tower is a conceptual proposal for a mixed use high rise tower which includes 300 residential units, parking, several floors of commercial space and a penthouse level restaurant. By creating a significant distance between the lattice work structural facade and the exterior face of the interior spaces the project explores the traditional relationship high rise occupants have with interior and exterior spaces. The space between the the inner and outer facades is occasionally punctuated when interior spaces break from the inner facade and bridge the gap between exterior, perceived exterior and interior space.
