Repositioning of a failed shopping mall that resulted in a new retail mix which retained the mature, affluent shopper while attracting a younger, more diverse customer base. The strategy expanded the mall’s customer base; extended the shopping duration; expanded visitation and increased in-line sales the first year by over $150 per square foot. 460,000 square feet of real estate repositioned and renovated on a mere $3M budget.
