A new 3,200 sq. ft. 4 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, 2-story home with a detached 3-car garage is built on a double lot in Denver’s Platt Park neighborhood. The home does not intend to redefine this older Denver neighborhood but instead seeks a balance with the established typology of the area. The home’s front porch and large picture windows engage the vibrant corner and enhance the continuation of a residential block. The minimalist design was influenced by the brick commercial buildings along S. Broadway, with their simple storefronts and limited use of materials.
