MSH Plant / KLM Arquitectos
Located on the northern outskirts of the Buenos Aires metropolitan area, the MSH Plant redefines conventional industrial architecture by integrating production, administration, development, and institutional representation within a single structure. The project is organized around a central manufacturing hall and a stepped northwest volume that houses complementary functions across three levels, interspersed with patios, voids, and open areas connected to the landscape.
The ground floor includes a showroom, reception, staff dining area, and informal meeting spaces, all expanded toward the exterior with a deck, reflecting pool, and sculpture courtyard. The first floor accommodates administrative offices and technical R&D spaces, while the top level is dedicated to institutional uses, including an auditorium and multipurpose room.
A key design feature is the northwest façade, composed of a modular aluminum panel system parametrically designed to regulate light, views, and solar protection. This skin not only defines the building’s technical image but also improves energy efficiency, reducing cooling demand by 15% through solar filtering.
The MSH Plant offers a contemporary take on industrial architecture—merging precision, sustainability, and a renewed connection with the natural environment.
