Situated at the crossroads of two streets in a well-established residential area in the capital city of Sonora, Mexico, Pitic GC814 presented a challenge. It aimed to achieve a contemporary and aesthetic appearance while ensuring maximum security and protection due to the residence's exposure to the streets and pedestrians.
By blending elements of vertical fencing that allow transparency with overlapping solid panels strategically placed to provide privacy, the desired level of seclusion was attained while still permitting the facade to be admired from the outside.
A dynamic interplay of volumes with varying heights and thicknesses, complemented by its covered entrance supported by a cantilevered structure and a meticulously chosen selection of finishes, bestows upon this residence an air of sobriety, delicacy, and elegance. Furthermore, its monumental entrance door, crafted from parota wood, imparts warmth and distinction that immediately captures the attention and beckons guests and residents to savor the beauty of this remarkable house.
The interior showcases multi-purpose wooden elements, including a custom-made modern louver designed to provide privacy while physically dividing two distinct architectural spaces. This feature can be observed through the impressive exterior tempered glass panel. The intriguing crossed beams, adorned with parota wood, not only serve a structural purpose by supporting a column at their intersection but also enhance the transitional space between the foyer and the remainder of the house.
Wooden ceilings in both interior and exterior spaces, marble floors, and natural rustic stone walls are among the finishes that contribute to the attractiveness of this residence.
