Conversion of a large warehouse space to creative offices for a progressive marketing firm. The underlying strategy involves a
series of towers with custom graphics; “monoliths” which give the space a human scale by
creating a height datum, providing way-finding system between
departments and accentuating the scale of the large space.
The design also features a large amphitheater for big group meetings, a
private yet visually open conference room and a lush outdoor patio. Also
proposed were custom plywood workstations and a raised grove of trees
to create park-like informal space, or alternately a series or raised
turf platforms with sculptural lighting above.
The client completed the space by adding a large, very realistic,
artificial tree in the center of the space.
