PIPA Pharmacy
It was the client's will to change the
pharmacy site, in order to preserve the future viability of business in the
city of Braga.This intention, associated with the
desire to extend the traditionally provided services in a pharmacy, was to
Central Arquitectos an exciting challenge.The approach to the project was based on
intense research, so it could be delivered the best concept to the assumption
of a well-defined business model. Once the program and its functional
hierarchy were set and the strong technical component and specific equipment
were considered, it was easier to support the architectural design model.The result was a design based in large
and simple volumes, plain surfaces and differing scales, as the immediate
approach to the function: the pharmacy in the ground floor and the SPA in the
upper floor.The color and lighting components
complement the architectural model without overtaking it.
