The owner of this 350m2 apartment is a passionate ping pong player. He loves the sport and wants his friends to share his passion. How many official sized training areas could we fit in this space was the first question we were asked.
The apartment spread over 2 floors has a clear division. The 1st floor contains the 2 official sized ping pong rooms and other entertainment facilities. KTV, Mahjong, dining, 3 bath and changing rooms and lockers. The red Olympic Ping-Pong floor connects this program and wraps around the black steel cladded entrance core. The wooden podium staircase and back wall bring a warmer element to the space.
The second floor houses a small apartment for visitors. The vertical garden under the skylight gives this space a calm and surprising moment.
