Pimlico Roof Garden: Iconic Vistas & Lush Foliage
On the 11th floor of Caro Point at Grosvenor Waterside in Chelsea, 4 roof terraces interlink in an indoor-outdoor architectural exchange with our clien’s minimalist interior design. This was our 2nd project for the client who relocated within the same development.
Each outdoor space was resurfaced with granite & sandstone paving, intersected diagonally. A raised bed featuring a multi-stemmed Eucalyptus, Mexican lilies and Rhamnus provides the key focal point from the kitchen, while a palm tree & a Japanese maple focalise the living rooms.
Bespoke aluminium planters powder-coated in blue feature Lavender, Photinia, Ferns & ground-cover. LED lighting immerses the roof terraces at night, with Vondom furniture & irrigation to support an alfresco lifestyle.
All terraces benefit from iconic landmarks in the vistas, epically topped by the chimneys of the prodigious Battersea Power Station, as well as the Wembley Arch, Chelsea Bridge and London Eye, with Thames Embankment providing waterfront glances, its liquidy surface shimmering at twilight.
