The design proposal called for a facelift on an existing officespace. To keep costs low and construction time short,a new façade is proposed to be placed over and in frontof the existing building. A technicality in the zoning codeallows a very narrow space for a new façade to stand offthe existing front wall. Angled and perforated metal panelsaccentuate this sliver of space by allowing westbound trafficto see through the new wall, while returning westboundtraffic only sees the solid portion of the panels.
