Piara Waters Stage 1 is the latest State Government Secondary School. As a multi-stage development, it will cater for a student population of 750 and 50 special needs students. The campus will host a population of 2,275 students upon completion of stage 2.
The commission comprises a master planning stage aimed at integrating site services and preparation of a forward works package. The campus brings together built form and landscape design around a centrally located social hub featuring a Cafeteria and under covered outdoor seating area. The facilities include an administration block, student services and medical centre, information and resource centre, learning community (HASS) block, science learning area, technologies learning area, health and physical education area, Education Support Hub, as well as delivery of hard and soft landscaped areas, outdoor sporting facilities and car parking areas.
The new facilities will be delivered over three stages, providing relief to nearby High Schools and ensuring access to education support facilities for students with a disability that live in the localities of Piara Waters and Harrisdale. The project is a vital contribution to building the civic character to the newly developed residential area of Piara Waters.
