Contemporary pharmacy in a village of Thuin in Belgium.
The project was born out of a spatial need. Indeed, the pharmacy has existed for several decades and the building no longer made it possible to offer a wider demand.
The pharmacy is located in the heart of the village and is located along a dense road axis.
For visibility, we studied the cross as a signal for day (empty drawing in the wall) and night (light).
The idea is to allow complete visibility of the interior of the pharmacy from the street. The perspective is reinforced by the courtyard that frames the bay window.
A large staircase (which takes the shape of the cross) is also visible from the street.
