Perú 87 is a building with 36 apartments, between 35 and 38 sq m each, with an active ground floor integrated by three commercial spaces and a privileged position located on the corner of Leandro Valle street, which has been re opened and integrated into the traffic under a semi pedestrian configuration.
The design intention of the building doesn´t pretend to make the old look new, neither to deny its history, but to link it back to the comfort level that gives simplicity and constructive efficiency by optimizing spaces understanding the market to which it is directed and its specific needs.
In this way the color accents, textures, art, vegetation and the views from the apartments, the common areas, the main circulations of the building (elevator, stairs and corridors) and its crowning with a roof garden with a panoramic view of the city, become part of the most coincidental attributes of a construction that is back in the discourse of its context, understanding and not refusing it.
The interior of the apartments has been designed resolving each space based on the optimized operation of the furniture, lighting, and natural ventilation, as well as the maximum use of the circulations and the height between floors, as well as the views towards the city. From the outside the new face of this building has started to show an image sided with the transformation of the area.
