Our proposal tries to answer their most important needs in a new, environmentally friendly fashion, by trying to help the gypsies use their own “know-how” and way of living in combination with some ecological affordable approaches in order to create a mobile habitat that can be built and adapted to the nomad lifestyle as fast and as often as it is needed. We emphasise on the low-cost and low-tech solutions that can be used , especially using the gypsies’ own ‘indirect’ recycling habits. Now they can build their homes as they like to, in accordance to their esthetical culture but in a new and innovative way, unsing the “custom ECO bricks” they can fabricate by them selfs. We want to promote a new image, that of a GREEN GYPSY, away from their current negative stigmata.
