Perak Chinese Assembly Hall is an NGO representing most Chinese Associations in Perak. Established almost a century ago, its scope of services includes charity, welfare, culture, education, economy, and all social and livelihood issues. Beyond addressing community affairs, the association also serves as a bridge between the Chinese community and the government.
It is Kuee Architecture’s privilege to be designing the PCAH building since winning the architectural competition in February 2024. We are pleased to provide a public update on the project, which commenced on-site in Q4 last year.
As of today, foundation works are progressing steadily, laying the groundwork for the next construction phases. Meanwhile, material selections for the exterior façade and interior finishes are being finalized with the PCAH committee, led by Chairman Dato Kwan Foh Kwai, to align with the project's design and sustainability goals.
Delivering this ambitious GBI (Green Building Index) Platinum-rated building comes with its challenges, but with a dedicated team and a committed client, we are confident in overcoming them. Through collaboration and careful planning, we look forward to realizing a building that reflects both sustainability and cultural significance.
