We faced a challenge to create an office space in an existing building that would be comfortable and convenient for busy work environment. Based on our studio's core design principles we decided to create the design with as little intervention as possible. Overall, we tried to create private and public spaces within the interior. The private spaces are to be utilized for meetings. We also designed private phone booths for phone conversations. The spaces are private in terms of sound, but all the rooms are visible through glass to maintain the feeling of being in one open space.
Our experience showed us that it would be illogical to mask any type of communications engineering and wiring since the engineering needs consistent servicing and that industry is constantly innovating. Therefore, we decided to expose all wiring and integrate into the design of the interior, which makes the wiring more accessible for servicing. There are different themes on each floor. Around the entrance there is a green wall, whereas on the third floor there are Armenian national carpets.
