A complete design for a penthouse in Amsterdam North that was completely empty (it was just built).
The desire was to realize a bedroom, two offices, a kitchen, dining and living room. The bathroom and toilet were a fixed element.
There was a research for the best place for these functions, and the spectacular view on the surroundings was leading. (from the penthouse you can see the city of Amsterdam as well as the countryside of the North of Holland. )The apartment had to be as open as possible. The proposal was therefore to remove two doors, so it became possible to walk around the bathroom element, and two sightlines were created by this also.
The kitchen is sleek and is finished with bamboo fronts and a Corian top. The cabinet is designed in the same style, also with bamboo. The construction wall that runs the full width of the apartment is highlighted by the color light blue.
