The objective for the Arboretum Tree House Exhibition is to design a unique tree house to be built in The Pennsylvania State University Arboretum. The proposal focuses on the unique ability of wood to be both fluid and solid at the same time. This ability is exhibited through the use of modulated wooden laminate panels that combine to create the fluid form. The form of the tree house is inspired by the primal act of climbing a tree. The house winds up the trunk, weaving in and out of the gaps in the branches, culminating in a scenic overlook.
