From the General Convention of
PEMEX and UNAM, in order to involve the university community in its major
programs and projects, the Department of the Faculty of Architecture, called to
participate in the contest, " New Guest House for RMSO "in
Ciudad del Carmen Campeche, where it was applied in a practical way the
knowledge acquired in the architecture degree, by encouraging creativity in
solving real problems.
We developed the project for building for the south west
marine region, in Ciudad del Carmen, Campeche, in order to have comfortable
facilities to know the needs for housing and provide food and lodging services,
necessary for PEMEX officials, as other units of government, for their own
activities as traveling to the city to discuss the region projects.
The project seeks to maximize the views of the
facade, with an easy read volumes denoting a homogeneous and hermetic language,
joining the urban area, its volume was born by the relationship between the
object and its environment, creating spaces of transition between the programs
of the building.
