The streets and the cars have taken over many green and public areas leaving the pedestrians with less areas.The pedestrian bridge will connect the Civic Center, Cultural Center and Olympic City of Guatemala making a corridor for everyday use that brings back the green areas to the urban scene. The main link between these places will be a plaza were a metallic structure seems to float over the place and reach into the woods in the Olympic City. A creeper plant will cover the floating structure giving shadows and rest places in the plaza, the bridge and in several places in the corridor. The main structure of the bridge is a simple group of pretense beams in which we have specific areas for resting, walking and bicycles.
