CROPKA architects joined forces with Amsterdam based vanOmmeren Architecten to deliver a concept design for a new pedestrian bridge over the river Elbe in Hradec Králové.
This sleek and modern design is focused on the idea of placemaking. The bridge is not just a river crossing, it is a meeting point, extension of the park, a place to relax and enjoy.
The form of the bridge and the integrated landscape provide an everlasting impression, yet the design is based on standard steel profiles allowing to keep the budget within the planned constraints.
