In a suburban area close to Caracas, the landsite is placed in front of a huge Polo Field, with amazing views of the landscape and the city of Caracas in a far horizon.The idea of the project was to design a single family house with an especific material of structure. In this case the chosen material was Steel in a veri simple colums and beams sistem with tubes in sqare or circular shapes. The idea of the materials was translated also to the enclosure system, which became a sandwich panel aluminium lacquered. The idea was to insolate as much as possible (the weather in the area can be very cold at nights and tropical warm during the day).The formal solution was a "cube" shaped volume, setted in the intrincate topografy, minimizing the landcuts and earth removal, keeping untouched and natural most of the site and profiting to grow in height to get the joy of the greatest views of the site.The house itself consist in ground floor with the social areas (kitchen, living, dinning, piano room) and the entry. In the 1st floor the children´s rooms and studio. In the 2nd Floor, as a parents private level, a parents studio, walking closet, bathroom, terrace and master bedroom, sharing an in-and-outside jacuzzi.There´s also a basement level with maids room, laundry and playroom.As an additional area, there was proposed as a second phase, a terrace for barbecues and an open pool, everything surrounded by huge trees already insite.
