As the majestic door to the PAVILLON TERRE DU SUD opens, a pleasant breeze comes upon you. The cross-ventilation from the entrance to the terrace, coupled with the airflow from the side patios provides the residence with the cool freshness much sought after in our tropical environment.
All the walls of the building are made of rammed earth provide a strong thermal protection to the building.
The pavilion is structured around a grand central volume, reflective of the nave of a cathedral, with a total of 5 rooms, spread out on each side and a kitchen. The central space of this family-residence, a living room which spreads vertically from the entrance to the terrace, with high ceilings allowing for natural lighting.
The protery also includes a service area with a an additional kitchen and laundry/utility room and bedroom.
