This small office building is located in the heart of a residential complex in the area of Pointe Sainte-Foy, Québec City. The pavillion includes under one roof rental offices and administration, exercise facility and underground access to existing buildings via a tunnel room. The aim is to improve functional aspects of the complex to provide a lifestyle innovative, dynamic and better suited to today’s urban needs.

The structure is fully expressed through the harmonization of steel, concrete and engineered wood. These materials are ubiquous at all levels of the project and thus characterized by the details of the stairs, the finish of the roof decking of solid wood. The innovative approach of the designers is reflected once again here by integrating heating systems (geothermal area) and passive cooling. The desire to create sustainable architecture also can be seen outside as well: cement composite panels adapted to our climate (made in Switzerland) and Corten steel plates bottom to anchor everything in the ground.
