A distinguished New York City firm asked Fradkin & McAlpin to create an elegant, cost-effective office suite in the IBM Building, quarters formerly occupied by part of a much larger legal concern. The simple, efficient renovations—which increased the number of private offices by 11 and added reception area, pantry, conference room, and administrative space, as well as a state-of-the-art IT center—reused the departing firm’s fit-out, built-ins, and infrastructure. Existing full-height glass perimeter office walls were matched and new millwork and finishes were added only as needed.
