The Pattern Pavilion
The Pavilion is composed of intersections of two pattern-covered surfaces, similar to wings of two lover birds hugged each other, and made a beautiful nest with an egg inside referring to the future and life. There is a hidden wonderful world inside the egg. One day, it will fracture its shell and enter a new world. The parametric structure of the pavilion is designed to indicate to this marvel, the new paintings which are inspired by delicacy and form of the Mogharnas of the Iranian architecture are hanging and playing the role of a joint for this world communication.
The light passing from these gaps and creating shades on the middle volume and the ground call us to change our attitude toward nature and its events. It says that the cities and the environment where we live may be more different and beautiful, provoke our curiosity and emotions, change our attitude and present a different experience from being in the space.
