Combining the local vernacular of an old mining area with the Big Camps found in the East, this home is truly unique. Situated on a steep lot, the house climbs up the hill, finally reaching the suspended stairs to the master suite; which is in a hand crafted log cabin.All of the timbers and most of the steel plates used for the structural trusses in the home, were salvaged by the owner and architect from a nearby mining operation.
