Park Bridge
Park Bridge (first presented for IN Integrated With Nature-Shift Boston and in this design version for High Bridge in NY) are concept projects that are green, renewable, and sustainable by integrating natural systems into architecture. Water, vegetation and energy are the three systems vital to a healthy environment. Vegetation (trees), filter the pollutants from the air and filter the water run off from roads. Renewable energy sources should be incorporated into all building were possible creating self sufficiancy. "High Art" and "Hi Water" bridge communities together in a dynamic park setting. High Bridge is an aqueduct bringing drinking water to Manhattan. High Park Bridge is a celebration of water systems, community, art and environmentally cutting edge technologies. High Park Bridge becomes a destination for inquiry as well as recreation and relaxation. Park goers my participate in many water cycle events.
