A series of benches and planters rise from the paving to form a variety of spaces depending on rooms that they are adjacent to within the penthouse. A series of low maintenance local indigenous planting beds are threaded in-between the pathways. Using a sand base for the whole deck the roof allows for the whole terrace to act as a single green roof and absorbing rain and slowly releasing run off.
