In an 1887 Victorian in Sacramento Street, Pacific heights one of the most exclusive areas of San Francisco, right by the Presidio Park and with views of the Golden gate bridge.
The Penthouse consisted of 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, a study, and kitchen Dining and Living room, approximately 1600 sq. ft. The building includes also a lower level for the husbands Psychotherapy practice and her Art Gallery, and a Commercial ground floor, in this vibrant street.
The Study.
Bookshelves on fireplace sides were restored and painted black to disguise the fireplace and flat screen. The TV is actually recessed within the wall for a smooth look. Portoro marble fireplace surround, and cabinet counter top. Bespoke yellow rotating ottoman over square area rug.
Guest bedroom.
A built-in cabinet was added to serve as closet and entertainment center.
Living room.
Mirrored backed restored bookshelves, fireplace surround in polished mirrored stainless steel, and gold highlighted wall panels. Mirrored table from India purchased in London on a shopping trip.
Dining Room.
Round table provides flow without corners on the way. Garden view, and pair of Italian Empire canvas theater panels.
Master Bedroom.
King bed fits into a niche having had to remove a corner.
Bathroom.
The larger of the 2 baths used as the Master, with Vanity and mirror running the full length of the wall, wall mounted nickel silver swing faucet. Corner pilasters reflecting into full columns.
Hallway.
Opened ceiling floods sunlight then reflecting the yellow mood throughout the doors. The walls devoted to the work of Bay Area artist Paul Wonner who passed away recently.
