This award-winning office and shop building
provides a unique opportunity for the client to showcase their particular line
of work. The design also fulfills the functional requirements of a flexible,
multipurpose facility. The geometric architectonics consist of a series of
overlapping planes and volumetric bump-outs created by deconstructing the box.
The beauty and complexity of natural concrete is celebrated in the sculptural
forms and a variety of textures. The raw and organic finish palette is a
welcoming juxtaposition, with the permanence and austerity of concrete. The
modern industrial interiors are purposely “rough around the edges” to flaunt
the construction and structure of the building.
