Pavillion introduction

The Fan dance that we usually know is a group dance that is modernly changed and succeeded since it was made in the mid20th century by Kim Baek-Bong.
The fans create beautiful different patterns by the angle or the way that the fans are connected and combined.
Morphogenetic fabrication that is made of arc-formed textures are found in nature.
The root of a coconut tree gets narrower as it goes up higher, the arc-formed textures cover the root as it narrows its angle.
This project is self-conducted project by “1st Kookmin Interior Design exhibition.”
The pavilion was made to be displayed in the center of the exhibition area.
Fix the paper-fan that has different angles calculated by “Grasshopper”, which can be easily made by anyone, to the ‘Y’ shaped joint.
By placing a lighting fixture in the middle of the structure that is made of “fan-joint”, the pavilion is complete.

This artwork was exhibited on April.8 ~ April.14 (2015) for the first time at Topohouse, Insadong, Seoul.
The second exhibition was placed at the lobby of Kookmin Unversity school of design, on April.22 ~ April.27 (2015)
