The sharp difference in altitude between the plot and the road level, the view of the city, the smooth integration of the building to the terrain, the building restrictions and the need for privacy, were the main factors that determined the design of the house.
The house is organized in five successive levels, the basement utility room, the entrance with the living and dining room, the kitchen, the children's bedrooms and the master bedroom.
The basement utility room is located in a smooth continuation to road level.
At the next level is located the main entrance. The approach to the hidden entrance is formed by cascading stages, parallel to the pavement, allowing the emergence of the volume that dominates the front and hosts the living and dining room. The use of vertical shading blinds and the wood coated wall creates a protective shell that offers privacy.
In partial verticality to the living room is positioned the next level of the kitchen. The creation of an L shaped form embraces the swimming pool and “transfers” it to the inside.
At the fourth level are placed the two children's bedrooms in a separate volume, which is based above the basement.
Finally at the last level, in a floating volume in the northern part of the plot, is located the master bedroom. In this way is created covered space for the kitchen and the master bedroom converted into an observatory which flies over the pool and enjoy the unobstructed view.
