The main goal of the retraining of the spaces of the so-called ”palestrina" in Lazzeretto, is to provide the urban center with a flexible and accessible which can provide answers to the most varied needs. Gym, cinema, classroom lessons, summer school, exhibition space.
The main concepts followed during the design have been:
Flexibility: increasing the neutrality of architectural solutions and furniture, without limiting the program to a function or use,.
Accessibility: in the broadest sense of the term: the degree of predisposition of the anhtropized environment to be enjoyed, lived and experienced by all people, of all ages.
Continuity: by increasing the synergy with other public spaces of Lazzeretto and creating links between the potential uses of the room, of the road and of the places of public interest offered by the village.
