The new apartment complex stems from the intention of designing a building with recognizable urban characteristics. The project constitutes a “mediation” element between the closed block format alongside Corso Unione Sovietica and the open urban fabric of the 20th century villas to the west. The new building shape is defined by the extension of the urban villas concept, with visual openings corresponding to the private streets crossing the block alongside the east-west axis. The two L-shaped bodies of the building are aligned to Via Sarpi, with the sort sections facing Corso Tazzoli to the south and the new public pedestrian space to the north.
The building reaches its maximum height on the corner between Corso Tazzoli and Via Sarpi, rising with a 10 storey-high tower. The top floor is comprised of rearward ample apartments, open towards the extraordinary Alpine landscape. The façade is characterized by the geometric cladding of the balconies and verandas, built using wooden and resin panels.
