Shrouded in mystery, this residence slowly unveils a dual identity. Rather than revealing itself to all curbside observers, it unfolds into a sanctuary where garden and home are inseparably intertwined. Located in a proverbial sea of gabled roofs and white siding, it is an estate where the architecture is intentionally subdued in order to amplify verdant rooms and ocean views.
Muted shingles clad the exterior in a subtle subversion of traditional forebears, while floor-to-ceiling apertures frame dynamic pictures of domestic life within. Diagrammatically, the estate is divided into a small village of eastern-inspired pavilions.
