After many years working in the coffee industry, the client wants to make their own coffee shop to highlight their journey. As a little bang, Outta Da Blue like its name aims to show their individual color to the coffee community in an unexpected but light.
From an asking to design a coffee shop in Danang with a brightly vibrant space, we found the challenge is the climate here. There are two main seasons in the year, the sunny season with strong illumination and the rainy season with rain all day, and the sky is so grey that your mood turns down. The solution is to make a large transparent roof along the plot length to shine all the space and set a movable curtain for very sunny times.
The heart of the space is the large coffee counter, giving the customer a scene of working route all day under the sunlight. The result is bringing good energy for the customer to have a sip and enjoy their own business. The clients always tell us that they want every function to be comfortable for their customers and all features not to be highlighted in the total space prevent to become a concept coffee shop. Sometimes, you can catch the objects collected over many years, or simple is their habit, like a whisper from the owner.
