Urban plannung and architectural conceptualisation of the former Schwenkel factory site, renovation of an existing building and new consctruction of six flagship outlets.
Metzingen/Stuttgart. Right in the historic city center of Metzingen, the passion for innovative urban development is combined with today's urban themes: fashion, architecture, lifestyle, design, culture and cuisine. Here, outlet shopping is not simulated on the outskirts of the city, but rather celebrated right downtown. It shows that a highly attractive factory site can be created through the integration of urban structures - for the benefit of all involved. The guiding principle in the design of all projects in the Metzingen Outletcity is that brand conscious clients have high standards when it comes to purchases, lifestyle and architecture. Through the modern and unmistakable language of architecture, which perfectly visualizes the brand identity of a given tenant, Metzingen has in recent years put together a unique ensemble of expressive buildings, for the most part preserving the flagship store impression.
