Situated on the edge of a natural escarpment in Ayios Tychonas, the house offers dramatic views throughout, the marina and to the sea beyond.
A proposed concrete envelope facing, south – west, were the living and sleeping areas are located, inserted within the existing terrain and projecting towards the sea and above the ground, supported by a single steel beam “casted” in the ground, allows for spectacular views throughout the horizon.
A hidden “pocket” below the concrete structure is generated where additional programme is located.
Entrance is achieved from the road level above the house with the use of lifts both for visitors and vehicles.
The landscape of the proposed house is designed so as to preserve its natural organic characteristics of the existing surrounding topography.
