The ONS headquarters, in addition to housing its workforce, is a critical building, means that it works 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with complex operations such as monitoring power system throughout Brazil.
The challenge of this building was the demand for large areas of generators, spare diesel sub-station and other features, while the plan meet the occupying company, providing redundant supply systems and infrastructure to guarantee the headquarters fully operation.
Regarding the design, it was the first rra´s building with serigraphy on the façade. Its design was inspired on the client identity shape and used as a method of energy efficiency, as these areas hinder the entry of the sun and consequently there is a reduction of the use of air conditioning.
