The defunct Domino Sugar Refinery in Brooklyn, New York has been redeveloped
as a 42-story high-rise mixed use, residential, commercial and retail building.
The development offers both market rate and affordable units as well as spacious
commercial office space on the lower floors.
Dagher Engineering is providing the MEP/FP design for the Domino building.
This project design includes the installation of a utility vault in the sidewalk to
provide power to the building. The residential portion of the building holds 522
apartments as well as amenities such as a lounge, gym, and 7,000-square-foot
roof deck, while the commercial portion contains 150,000 square feet of Class
A office space, and 15,000 square feet of retail and dining.
