Located in the historic and culturally vibrant district of Poblacion, Makati City, One Harrison is a contemporary architectural response that celebrates place while redefining mixed‑use living in an urban Philippine context.
Sitting at the heart of one of Makati’s oldest neighborhoods, the building draws inspiration from the traditional accesoria and shophouse typology — a contextual paradigm that informs its layered program and spatial organization. The design strategically positions public and social functions on the lower levels — including a restaurant/bar, dedicated music spaces, and a gym — while reserving the upper levels for private residential quarters. This deliberate layering fosters an active urban edge that invites interaction while maintaining moments of privacy and retreat.
The façade embodies a thoughtful fusion of historic reference and contemporary expression. Evoking the Philippines’ rich Art Deco lineage, the exterior articulates elegant geometric composition and refined detailing, while a palette anchored in mint green and bronze accents provides a modern sensibility that resonates within the district’s eclectic architectural tapestry.
