The DUMBO outpost of this favorite Brooklyn bakery and coffee shop is located in a prominent corner spot of the landmark Clocktower Building, alongside Brooklyn Bridge Park. Set within a previously raw space, the new design incorporates a large service counter, plenty of seating, a new kitchen, revamped mechanical, plumbing and electric services, and ample storage. The layout takes advantage of the high ceilings and large windows overlooking cobblestoned Main Street, and the new shop entry, new awnings and new signage were all designed to be in keeping with the historical style of the neighborhood, and were embraced by the NYC Landmarks Preservation Commission.
