One Ayala, designed by Visionarch - Visionary Architecture Inc., is shortlisted in the World Architecture Festival in Berlin, Germany. Now on its 10th year, the international festival recognizes architects and design firms that respond to the urgent challenges the world faces: Climate, Energy and Carbon; Water; Ageing and Health; Re-use; Smart City Technology; Building Technology; Cultural Identity; Ethics and Values; Power and Justice; and Virtual Worlds.
Named after its address at No. 1 Ayala Avenue corner EDSA, the new transit-oriented development of Ayala Land, Inc. will serve as a recognizable gateway to Makati Central Business District. At its core is an intermodal transport hub that will meld Makati City’s mass transportation modes. As an anchor, it will pull together the project’s major components: a 609-room business hotel, a leasable condominium, two office towers for the robust BPO industry, and a retail podium with 54,700 square meters of leasable space.
