The Ona project redefines the concept of home as a place where everyday life becomes a special experience. Every corner is designed to connect its inhabitants with their surroundings, fostering a perfect balance between functionality and aesthetics. Natural light plays a key role, flowing unobstructed through large windows that blur the boundaries between indoors and outdoors. This approach creates an open, fluid atmosphere, inviting you to enjoy the simplicity of daily life.
Noble materials such as light-toned wood and natural stones are combined with modern finishes to create a warm and welcoming environment. Details like integrated shelving, wooden panels, and modular furniture not only add beauty but also tell the story of those who live there, with books, decorative objects, and memories seamlessly blending into everyday life. Each element serves a purpose: to be both practical and beautiful, as well as personal.
The design emphasizes gathering spaces where the family can naturally reconnect. The large central island in the kitchen becomes the focal point of daily activities, from preparing meals to sharing casual conversations. Neutral tones and clean-lined furniture, combined with carefully chosen decorative elements like vases with seasonal branches, reinforce the idea that the everyday can also be special. This principle extends to other areas, such as the dining room, where the simplicity of wood and minimal details invite shared moments of enjoyment.
The home's interior design finds a balance between contemporary and warm, ensuring that each space feels like a natural extension of the others. In the living room, the anthracite stone fireplace acts as a gathering point radiating warmth, while modular furniture and soft textiles promote a relaxed atmosphere. The color palette, based on neutral and earthy tones, harmonizes with the textures of the materials to create a calm and welcoming environment.
In more intimate spaces like the bedroom, comfort and serenity are prioritized. Wooden panels frame the bed with an enveloping feel, while strategically placed mirrors amplify light and the sense of space. Soft textiles and minimalist finishes reinforce the idea of rest as an essential experience, while small decorative touches, such as simple designer lamps and velvet-upholstered stools, add understated elegance.
Even functional spaces like the bathroom are designed to offer a unique sensory experience. Wood, used on walls and floors, transforms this space into a warm retreat, while the freestanding bathtub becomes a central element inviting relaxation. Black fixtures and softly curved sinks balance modernity with the natural warmth of the materials, creating a sanctuary where essentials and aesthetics coexist harmoniously.
The project also considers the needs of the youngest members of the family, with a children’s space that breathes tenderness and simplicity. Designed to their scale, this corner combines rounded furniture with natural materials, creating a safe and stimulating environment that invites play and imagination. Natural light and organic details, such as soft rugs and wooden arches, make this area a charming refuge for moments of discovery.
Ona celebrates the idea that a home should be a place to live, not just to admire. Every design choice, from materials to decorative objects, is intended to foster an emotional connection with the space, transforming the everyday into memorable moments. This project encapsulates the essence of a modern and human home, where design and functionality blend seamlessly, creating an environment that invites calm, reflection, and togetherness.
