Our goal was to design a "home" in harmony with its surrounding nature. By creating detached open spaces, the outdoor environment permeates into the mass of the project, causing the functional areas of the house, such as the living room, kitchen, bedrooms, etc., to be scattered on the land in the form of independent volumes. This intertwining of inside and outside, mass and surroundings, results in diverse spaces and sequences within the house, while also offering different volumes and façades with distinct personalities on the exterior.
By dividing the buildable mass into several sections and separating smaller volumes from each other, interstitial spaces were created, which were dedicated to communication and pause. The glass walls and ceiling, framed by the surrounding greenery, create a unique quality for the audience while moving through the building. The tactile experience of the brick façade and the way it brings the outside in strengthens the connection between the interior and exterior.
