A Linear Axis of Light
Designed for OMG, a bathroom accessories manufacturer, this stand was developed for UNICERA 2019. The project departs from the conventional panel-based display systems commonly seen in trade fairs and proposes a new exhibition language defined by space and light.
The linear character of the stand is reinforced by an underlit display table. This element functions not only as a presentation surface, but also as a “meeting line” designed for discussions, product examination, and client interactions. Positioned at the center of the space, this illuminated axis defines the social and functional core of the stand.
Illuminated Voids
Instead of classical panels onto which accessories are mounted, illuminated circular niches generating spatial depth were introduced. Stainless steel accessories are positioned within these niches and enveloped by a diffuse, homogeneous light, creating an object-oriented presentation that separates them from both foreground and background. Light is conceived not merely as an illumination tool, but as an active spatial component that abstracts, refines, and brings the product into focus.
The dominant geometry of the stand—the circle—was selected to centralize perception and intensify visual concentration on a single focal point. The repetition of circular voids establishes a rhythmic spatial sequence within the long and linear plan.
