An evolving landscape as the memorial to acknowledge all olympic medal winners.Beyond an exhibition of names, we aimed to install a landscape that would evolve every 2 years, to the rythm of the olympics.A matrix of landscape layers would define an area for all sports.A bridge paved with pictogram would unveil each of this layers and connect the main parvis to and outdoor ceremonial auditorium. Each medal winner would be associated with a light pole acknowledging is acheivement. Each pole would follow a lighting scheme related to the athletes history, origin, sport, and event. A subtle continuous light show would unveil relations between the memorial poles. Light clouds of countries, olmpic cities, would be generated.the visitor would discover the field after climbing up to a parvis where all olympic cities would be associated to a portal. The would then slope down thru a forest of trees , each acknoledging an ancient olympic winner. The promenade would then proceed into the trails and clairings of the memorial poles of the modern olympic era, layer of events by layer of events. The visitor would reach the auditoirum and then journey back on the bridge where detailled presentation of each discipline and sportsmen would be outlined on the ramp. This evolving landscape, going for a 1000 years, would be a unique destination stating the Olympia as the city of origin the Olympics.
