Oh My Bun – Burger Restaurant
Oh My Bun is a burger restaurant conceived as a retro-futuristic universe, where the codes of the American diner are reinterpreted through a bold and expressive contemporary architecture. The project embraces contrast, blending nostalgic references with futuristic forms to create a strong and immediately recognizable identity.
The floor becomes a graphic landscape: polished concrete is animated by curved pink and grey inlays that subtly guide movement while distinguishing circulation from seating areas. Metal is omnipresent and explored in multiple expressions — black metal, pink sheet metal, brushed stainless steel, perforated and corrugated surfaces — forming the project’s material backbone. The staircase emerges as a sculptural landmark: a full-height cylindrical volume, monochrome and mono-material, entirely clad in perforated pink metal. Colored glazing, differentiated according to use, completes the palette.
From the entrance, a luminous tunnel of metal and yellow glass defines the threshold and leads to the ordering kiosks, designed as an extension of the same architectural language. The central space is structured around a totem-like counter — a key element of the brand’s identity — composed of cylinders of varying heights and topped with a colorful terrazzo work surface.
Seating unfolds on either side of the space. On one side, a continuous banquette stretches along the wall, framed by backlit metal and colored-glass domes, set against a corrugated metal backdrop punctuated with illuminated brushed stainless-steel niches. On the other, fully stainless-steel booths offer a more radical and immersive seating experience. Colored glass tables reinforce the graphic identity of the interior.
The façade extends this architectural narrative, reinterpreting the cylindrical counter motif and integrating linear seating along the glazed frontage, strengthening the dialogue between interior and exterior.
