The purpose of the commission is the construction of an old shipping office to create the subsidiary of an international lamp design company. There is a ground floor in front of the port of Barcelona, which is totally obsolete, abandoned, fragmented and with several superimposed reforms that hide the architecture of the original building.

It was proposed to strip all the superimposed layers until reaching the origin of the building and thus create an office with large, light, and tall spaces, with glass partitions in the original steps of the existing load-bearing walls, which offers greater views and natural light to all points of the local. In contrast, two closed cores are projected, one for services and the other for facilities.

The minimalism in the walls, ceilings, and floor coverings allow a neutral base to the company for product design, while the use of oak wood in furniture parts offers the necessary warmth to create a warm work atmosphere.
